Feuille d'Herbe

Translated into English, this fragrance series from Proven¨al perfumery L'Occitane means "a leaf of grass." Founder Olivier Baussan was inspired to create the two seasonal scents after reading Walt Whitman's classic poetry collection of nearly the same name, "Leaves of Grass." Fruity top notes and blends of jasmine, magnolia and woodsy aromas round out the summer eau de toilette, Fresh & Floral, while fresh scents of verbena and tomato leaves feature in the spring selection, Light & Green (100ml for ¥6,000). Perfect for those of us who aren't lucky enough to summer in Provence.

Available at L'Occitane boutiques nationwide. Visit their branch in the Tokyu Department Store. Open 10am-9pm daily, 2-24-1 Shibuya, Shibuya-ku. Tel: 03-3477-4709. Nearest stn: Shibuya.
