California dining at Hilton Tokyo
Savor the integration of different cooking styles and ingredients
from around the world with executive sous chef Christen Werdenberg’s
California Food Promotion at Hilton Tokyo. With an emphasis
on what makes California cuisine healthy and delicious—fresh
vegetables, seafood and fruits—a wide range of dishes
will be served at Brasserie Checkers’s dinner buffet
daily (except Fridays and Saturdays) until May 31. Enjoy tempting
starters like turkey breast with smoked trout sauce and lime-marinated
seafood, as well as irresistible main dishes such as Eastern-flavored
crab cakes during this limited time.

Café Daisy
What better time than mid-May to sit back on Café Daisy’s
newly renovated terrace and enjoy a great collection of Australian
wines or Carlsberg beer draft on tap? The Roppongi Danish
favorite not only features great dining but an impressive
collection of books highlighting design and lifestyle from
Copenhagen and the Oresund region, such as the just-released
Simple Nordic Life Oresund Style. Weekends and Tuesday through
Friday afternoons, diners can also enjoy a wide brunch selection,
including a set with meatballs, smoked pork, and liver p‚té,
or eel, salmon and herring with bread (¥2,300, comes
with one drink).

Golden Plan at aria blu
Feeling blue with Golden Week over? Sing and eat your heart
out at aria blu, where stylish private dining meets karaoke
space in Shinjuku’s Kabukicho district. Until the end
of May, aria blu will offer several plans to accommodate your
palate and your wallet, like the popular Bianco full course
which serves gourmet dishes like short-necked clams with new
potato soup, and bonito carpaccio with mustard sauce, while
diners sing their favorite tunes for two hours (¥4,400).
With theme rooms like “Hollywood,” resembling a
private theater, and “Spa,” featuring a built-in
Jacuzzi, aria blu is surely a restaurant like no other.
